There are some traditions that will never disappear, even if women continue to pretend they don’t matter.

Sad, really. Regardless what some women argue, every lady wants a gentleman to open the door for her. Period. But let’s not forget the movie A Bronx Tale. So these days it’s no longer a one-way street. If a woman has her door opened by a gentleman when getting into a car, she can independently and respectfully return the favor. Opening the door will always be rewarded with a smile. It’s simple -- part of a gentleman’s daily life is thinking about others. And part of a lady’s job is letting a man know his efforts are appreciated.

Every person desires respect....respect covers everything....a woman must have a certain amount of strength...99% of us do not want to wear the pants...unless they are made for a woman....yes woman still want to be treated like a lady....most of what you see is learned behavior....give and I will give it back to you....pressed down shakin together...in good measure....how do you spell respect...

Yes in some aspects this is true. But now and days women are on a independent riot. And being nice might back fire on you.... as it has with me several times. But you keep trying and you'll run across a few who appreciate it every once and while.

You're right. A woman wants to be treated like a lady. For any woman to say that she doesn't is ridiculous. We, as women, have enough on our plate; so if the man wants to do the little things, we should enjoy then and show appreciation.
